I am Woman- Jacqui Sanchez

Jacqui is adored and cherished by her friends- recognized as the jovial companion who is quick to smile and laugh, and demonstrates the ease that comes with optimism. She encourages and comforts others, offering solace to the world. Jacqui is a loving wife, a caring mother of three young boys, a gut practitioner by profession, and a leader in her church community. Through her experiences, Jacqui has learned that she can take on difficult challenges and has discovered her own growing capabilities, simply by having the courage to try.

Jacqui has a deep love for motherhood and enjoys learning how to raise strong children. Alongside her children, she has realized the importance of personal interests and growth in order to authentically and completely show up as her best self for her family and for herself.

Jacqui is I am Woman, and this is her story…

“Have the courage to be brave. I tell myself, ‘I am trying this, and I can do this,’ even if it’s my first time. I can do hard things. It might take me longer to learn, I might not do it perfectly at the beginning, but I can do hard things. With effort, I know I will reach the places I want to be.”

Jacqui pursued her interest in a gut practitioner program because she is passionate about identifying root problems rather than resorting to quick medication solutions. She has learned that the gut and imbalance of minerals are connected to health issues including: headaches, sleep quality and energy, the immune system, and mental health. Jacqui aims to guide others toward holistic measures that can improve their well-being. Drawing from her experience, she demonstrates the positive impact that lifestyle choices can have on health improvements.

Her interest deepened when her first baby experienced severe health challenges, in addition to requiring medications, all in the first year of his life. “My interest stemmed from wanting better solutions for my son,” Jacqui explains. “Medications are absolutely necessary at times, but I wish I would have known additional ways to support him. These experiences are important to me because it has shaped who I am now, but I know that my son’s health has improved because of what I have learned and implemented from the gut practitioner program.”

I have a curiosity to understand why things happen and I like to explore alternatives to medication. I want to empower my family to improve their health through proactive actions and lifestyle changes.” – Jacqui

Jacqui has boldly ventured into entrepreneurship as a gut practitioner, founding her own business named Simply Balanced with Jacqui. She describes herself as an uncomplicated person, offering straightforward solutions that she believes can significantly benefit others’ health, even if they seem unfamiliar at first. Surprising herself with her ability to apply and help others through her acquired knowledge, Jacqui elaborates:

“I find this meaningful because there were things I never thought I could do. Now, I am doing them…I feel a strong pull to continue this path. It’s not just about helping my family but also about helping others improve their lives.”

Taking pride in her ongoing learning and ideas, Jacqui continues with her discovered talent in this field. She initially helped her family and close friends reduce discomforting symptoms through her practice, and as word spread about their improved health, Jacqui has begun assisting others as well. With her growing momentum, Jacqui continues her learning and seeks guidance from the help of her mentor. Having a mentor has helped Jacqui self start her business, and has boosted her confidence as she has realized how much she can help others. Jacqui’s advice to others is clear:

“Get a mentor to help you get started. Having a mentor helped me get started and provides the support that I need to grow, learn, and continue to improve myself as a practitioner.”

With this holistic approach, Jacqui feels she has found even more purpose: more purpose within her family, and more purpose for herself as she engages in her passions and personal interests. She has been able to witness positive outcomes from all her hard work as achievements slowly evolve. Learning more about health, and about more natural ways of healing, has also confirmed Jacqui’s belief that there is a divine design in how our bodies and earth were created.

“I hope my own learning teaches my kids that they can try new things and develop talents they find interesting or didn’t realize they had. I would advise my boys to work toward something and try to improve. Making time for things that bring you happiness can make you happier for your family and as a person.”

Jacqui also dedicates time as a leader, assisting other women through her religious group. She leads with kindness and compassion. For Jacqui, this means sacrificing her time to help someone else complete a task that will improve their living situation, or taking the time to get to know and include other women in her community without any judgement. This experience has been humbling for her as she doesn’t see herself as a natural leader, but she tries to “lean into her strengths.”

She has effectively led and contributed significantly to the tireless efforts of service, positively impacting many lives. Jacqui encourages other women to contribute their unique ideas and solutions that perhaps only women are able to conceive or recognize.

One of Jacqui’s favorite quotes is repeated by Latter-day Saint Prophet, President Nelson: “Let God prevail.” Jacqui explains,

“I’m a worrier. I’ve improved, but when I’m anxious about something, repeating this quote in my head brings me peace. I believe that God is in control, and there’s a greater purpose behind everything happening around me and in my life. This quote helps me see that I can let go of some control and that God knows what’s best for me.”

Jacqui speaks kindly of others and naturally looks for the good in those around her. She adores her three sons, two of whom are twins, and emphasizes how important it is for them to know she loves them. Jacqui continues, “I also want my boys to know the importance of being true to themselves and to do well in all that they set out to do.”

Jacqui also credits her parents as significant influences in her life, always being there whenever she has needed them and modeling the importance of family. She admires her dad for always making time for her and even helping her obtain a business license for her growing business. Her mom, always smiling much like Jacqui herself, has inspired Jacqui to strive for the same warmth and positivity. Jacqui said,

“Now that I am a mother myself, I appreciate the sacrifice that my mom made to stay home with her children, because now I understand that this is a very difficult thing to do.”

Surrounded by these amazing people, it will be Jacqui’s husband, Joey, who stands out as her best friend and primary confidant. She affectionately shares that Joey seems to have an answer for everything and provides immense comfort and support in all aspects of her life. They have a playful relationship, amid their kindness and adoration for each other, and continuously turn to each other to exchange smiles throughout their enjoyment in life.

Anyone who knows Jacqui well knows she has a deep love for her family. Anyone who has known Jacqui for five minutes knows she has a deep love for nutrition. Put these two ingredients together, and you have a good start on the “Jacqui corn snacky” recipe (a long-used nickname of hers.) She cares so much for people that those big crocodile tears often bubble up to the surface. She doesn’t like that about herself, but I love it. I love that I married someone so full of empathy and compassion for those around her. Jacqui is quick to forgive others’ shortcomings, including my own. She’s made it one of her life missions to bless other people by helping them improve their health. She wants us to live our best lives through a combination of: vegetables, air filters, red light therapy, blackout curtains, mineral cocktails, and mouth tape.” – Joey

“Be brave. Starting a business has been very scary and vulnerable, but I have reminded myself to stay brave and keep going. Invest in yourself, your family, and your health. Ask questions- especially about health. I think others should dig deeper into issues regarding their health and find ways to better support their bodies so that their bodies can function how they were designed to function.” – Jacqui
